Xylem To Showcase Smart Water Technologies At IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2018

NEW YORK: Following the acquisition of more than US$2 billion in water management and technology brands, Xylem is scheduled to spearhead discussions and showcase their smart water management expertise in the upcoming IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan on 16-21 September 2018.

Hot button issues such as the digitisation of water and its implications on water utility management will be discussed during the keynote discussion by Xylem’s President and CEO, Patrick Decker on Wednesday, 19 September. Other topics that will be covered by Xylem include the future of utilities management within the context of current challenges in aging infrastructures and severe weather conditions as well as the best practices for sustainable transformation and water supply management. Technical and strategy experts from Xylem, will also touch upon how leaders can align to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as industry trends and the future opportunities that a digital water ecosystem represents – such as how this could lead to the transformation of utilities into smarter systems.

Technical presentations from Xylem’s studies on water information, nanomaterials and water treatment technologies will also be presented.
