
Schneider Electric has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) to create a new Venture Building Programme in Singapore.

This is following the announcement that the British technology company Dyson will be setting up its automotive manufacturing facility to build electric cars in Singapore.

ST Engineering and EDB will work closely to identify and develop growth strategies for targeted industries, such as robotics, smart mobility and health tech, which could be globally competitive business areas for Singapore and ST Engineering.

The new customer space promotes interaction among Yokogawa and plant owners, and aims to fully leverage the company’s OpreX suite of technologies and solutions to help upgrade traditional industries and develop the digital plant.
