Konica Minolta showcased a range Industrial IOT solutions at Industrial Transformation Asia-Pacific (ITAP) that took place at Singapore EXPO from 22nd to 24th October 2019.

ITAP 2019 brought together an ecosystem of global industrial leaders and experts to shape and support the region’s manufacturing industry growth and transformative initiatives, Industry 4.0 unifies technologies for Advanced Manufacturing such as autonomous robotics, artificial intelligence, IOT, Digitalization for Manufacturing and data analytics to transform the manufacturing floor.

Singapore government has been driving and encouraging the manufacturing sector in Singapore to adopt Industry 4.0, which will help companies to address high costs, stagnant productivity and an ageing workforce in a slowing global economy. A*STAR, Singapore’s leading science and technology agency together with Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), the Economic Development Board (EDB) Singapore and Enterprise Singapore, has initiated a Future of Manufacturing (FoM) to encourage Industry 4.0 adoption among Singapore manufacturing companies1.

Konica Minolta’s Digital Manufacturing and IoT Workplace solutions will bring forth new value to the manufacturing process within the supply chain through collaboration between robots and people, optimisation of processes and preventive measures, leveraging artificial intelligence, big data and translating data into actionable insights with analysis and ease of sharing.
