Epicor Software Corporation has announced the winners of its latest Customer Excellence Awards program. The awards mark the company’s continued recognition in supporting manufacturers on their digital transformation quest to become more competitive in today’s Industry 4.0 world. The 2019 winners are being announced today at the annual Epicor Customer Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The global awards program, now in its fourth year, recognises the accomplishments of innovative organisations that have successfully transformed their operations by deploying Epicor solutions and services to achieve a truly connected enterprise. These connected solutions bring together data analytics and automated control across the factory and the warehouse to create intelligent production environments that boost the productivity, quality, compliance, and profitability of their business.
The following companies are 2019 Epicor Customer Excellence Award winners in the regional program for Asia Pacific:
Trio Engineering is the Business Transformation winner, having successfully harnessed automation and data to achieve its end-to-end business process management (BPM) vision. Trio Engineering integrated Epicor ERP with its production control systems to enable the real-time data collection that has enabled improved collaboration between business divisions and elevated production execution. By leveraging smart technologies to capture competitive advantages in a fast-evolving Industry 4.0 world, the firm is fast realising its global growth ambitions with the rapid expansion of its overseas operations.
Ka Shui Group is the Technology Innovator winner. Committed to improving productivity through the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies for a smarter future, Ka Shui integrated Epicor ERP with an IoT powered ‘Track and Trace’ in-house system. It enables a truly ‘digital factory’ in which multiple processes are seamlessly optimised and real-time visibility of the entire supply chain has been achieved. The resulting operational efficiencies have generated a significant increase in gross profit margins for the group.
CR Asia Group is the winner in the Cloud Deployment category. Determined to streamline business processes and bring its multi-location businesses together on one unified platform, CR Asia implemented Epicor ERP in the cloud. Alongside optimising operations to better serve the fast-evolving requirements of customers, CR Asia now has access to the real-time business intelligence it needs to capture value and achieve profitable and sustainable growth.
Epicor Customer Excellence Awards programs are run in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa. The regional program winners are automatically considered as finalists in the global categories for overall “Customer of the Year” and will be announced later this year, after the regional awards programs have concluded.

Award entries were judged in three key areas:
- Complexity of the project. What business areas were impacted by the scope of the project?
- Clearly stated objectives. Why was this initiative started? What were the deliverables? How was success defined?
- Overall business impact of the initiative relative to stated goals. What was achieved? How did this compare to the original KPIs?
