Henry Cheng – Engineering Manager, Schaeffler Bearings (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
In 2006, Henry started his career as Technology Application Specialist for Total Solution System Integrator Sdn Bhd, mainly in- charge of Thermography Inspections (FLIR), Precision Laser Alignment (DAMALINI), Vibration Condition Monitoring and in-situ balancing to major MROs.
In 2009, Henry joined Schaeffler as Field Service Engineer. He was responsible for providing technical advice and expertise concerning bearing and service products to MRO customers in their production facilities, promoting and supporting sales of bearing products to the MRO customer on site by providing reliability services such as Vibration, Alignment, Balancing, Bearing mounting supervision, training & etc. He also provided technical advice, troubleshooting, basic design, and damage analysis to MRO customers.
Henry joined other Bearing MNC company as Sales and Service Engineer (Condition Monitoring) in the Year 2012 and was responsible to represent the company and its values to all contacts, businesses and others in the region, new market development and lead for Quarry Segment in Malaysia & Regional lead for Reliability Services. He was also supporting both technical and training for Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.
In the year 2016, Henry rejoined Schaeffler as Senior Field Service Engineer for Schaeffler Bearings (M) Sdn Bhd. He was mainly responsible for providing technical support on various services covering bearing mounting/dismounting, servicing, lubrication, online and offline monitoring, supporting sales engineers by providing technical proposals, root cause analysis, training, troubleshooting and technical advice.
Henry is presently, Engineering Manager for Schaeffler Bearings (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
