DHL Express Singapore, the leading global brand in the logistics industry, held its roundtable event, “Navigating the Shifting Manufacturing and Trade Landscape” on 20 September 2023. The discussion featured expert perspectives and insights on the manufacturing and trade landscape in Asia and Singapore and showcased DHL’s pioneering efforts as a leader in Green Logistics.

The session was helmed by DHL Express Singapore’s Managing Director Christopher Ong and Head of Commercial, Chee Yaw Chek, and guest speaker from the Singapore Institute of Purchasing and Materials Management (SIPMM), Executive Director, Stephen Poh.

Singapore has established itself as a regional economic powerhouse, and the event delved into the current state of the manufacturing and service sectors in Singapore. Through data-driven insights from the Purchasing Managers’ Index, Executive Director at SIPMM, Stephen Poh, provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the existing business environment and potential areas of growth for different industries.

The roundtable highlighted DHL Express’ innovative solutions, eco-friendly initiatives, and commitment to sustainable practices that set a benchmark for the industry.
