Singapore: NetApp has announced the appointment of Charles R. Manuel to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the Asia Pacific region. Mr Manuel’s appointment comes at a key time where the company is looking to accelerate its Data Fabric vision across Asia Pacific, as local governments and corporations alike make a bigger push towards digital transformation.
Based in Singapore, Mr Manuel will be responsible for continuing to raise the company’s all-flash storage profile through the creation of customer preference and demand for its products, and identifying new growth opportunities for the brand across the region.
He joins the company following a career spanning more than two decades at IBM, where he took on various roles including Head of Channels & Alliances in the cloud business division, and Marketing Leader for the Asia Pacific region. As a result, he brings finely-honed skills in data-driven marketing strategies to grow both new and existing market share.
